The Paurotis palm, also known as the Everglade palm, Madiera palm and Silver saw palmetto (Acoelorraphe wrightii), is the sole species in the genus Acoelorraphe. It is native to Central America, southeastern Mexico, the West Indies, the Bahamas, and extreme southern Florida.
